The Effect of Imagery Training in Increasing the Confidence

This study aims to determine the effect of mental imagery training on increasing Athletes' Confidence in facing competition at Futsal Athletes Musi Banyuasin Club, South Sumatra. type research is an experiment with design "The One Group Pretest-Postest Design". The population this were athletes Sumatra, totaling 24 athletes. sampling technique used total sampling. Data analysis using t-test significance level. method experimental a pretest-posttest group. data analyzed statistics. results showed that average self-confidence pretest was 71.67, and posttest 92.50. While hypothesis testing 95% confidence level or error rate 5%, indicated by coefficient value tcount > ttable 10,618 1,714, then reject Ho accept Ha, meaning which reads There Imagery Exercise match accepted truth.
